Key Application • LED Lighting

Thermal Management Materials for LED Lighting

LED system lifetime is dominated by junction temperature and driver endurance. Sheen provides thermal pads (silicone & silicone-free),
thermal grease, thermal conductive adhesives and potting compounds to reduce interface thermal resistance, stabilize assembly and support scalable production.

Why LED Lighting Systems Overheat

Interface losses dominate

MCPCB-to-heat-sink interfaces contain micro-voids and flatness variation. Without proper TIM selection, thermal resistance increases and hotspots appear.

Outdoor & harsh environment

Street lights and flood lights operate through wide ambient ranges and cycling. Stability through qualification and consistent assembly are critical.
